Pap Smear Test Result
Positive pap smear test result means there are abnormal cervical cells that may require a cone biopsy, sometimes done during a colposcopy.

The outcome of a cytology examination depends upon observation of certain cellular characteristics. If deviation from the normal type for the area from which the specimen is taken, it is considered abnormal or atypical.
