Pap Virus

When a pap virus is present, cervical dysplasia caused by HPV is usually what is found. Genetics (having a specific protein), weakened immunity, prolonged HPV exposure and unmanaged HPV infections figure in progression to cancer or emergence of symptoms. HPV can exist without signs; one can be a carrier without knowing it. It is possible for cytological examinations not to detect its presence during routine exams.
