Pap Smear Technique
A pap smear technique is rather simple, but useful for detecting genital wart and other problems for removing them with a cryosurgery.
A sample of tissue that consists of mucus and cells is then taken from the cervix with the help of a wooden or plastic spatula. While a woman is lying on a table with her feet being in the stirrups, a doctor inserts speculum to open the vagina for a better view of the interior.

Before the test, restrain from sex, douching, and vaginal medicines for 24 hours. Either negative or positive test results are handed to the patient. A glass slide as well as a bottle is used to store the cells as they are being transported to a lab for a microscopic examination.
