Pap Smear Pregnancy
A pap smear pregnancy exam cannot detect urethritis and other urinary infection, but is successful with the cervical area.
Papanicolaou test should be done as a part of pelvic examination in pregnant women. This provides seasonable treatment or eliminates the chance of developing cervical cancer. Expectant mothers are recommended to undergo Papanicolaou test that determines the presence of precancerous and cancerous cells in the cervix.
