Atypical Pap Smear
An atypical pap smear may indicate cervical dysplasia caused by HPV.
Recent research suggests that people lacking a specific protein are more susceptible to HPV infection than are others, similar to getting a cold. But, elements that weaken the immune system are also a factor. Both genetic makeup and lifestyle may contribute to unusual test results.
An atypical pap smear may indicate cervical dysplasia caused by HPV.

Atypical Pap Smear -
Cervical Dysplasia, HPV
If the immune system’s ability is blocked at the molecular level to respond to the presence of bacterial and viral diseases, some changes in cell maturation may appear. Thus, unusual or abnormal cells will be seen in normal cytology screening procedures. An atypical pap smear may indicate cervical dysplasia caused by HPV.
